Mossberg MC2sc Micro Compact 3.4" Pistol After the worldwide success of the MC1sc, Mossberg is once again using its design and engineering prowess to build a compact and versatile pistol, the Mossberg MC2sc. With sporting double-row magazines and a host of ergonomic and performance features, the MC2sc pistol is an excellent choice for concealed carry or protection. This model of the MC2sc in 9mm caliber and comes with a pair of double-stack magazines, one 11-round (flush) and one 14-round (extended). Each MC2sc loader features easy-to-remove floor plates, high-visibility followers, and is made of coated steel that offers low friction and superior wear resistance. The slider is made of 416 stainless steel, with a black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon Coating) finish. It has angled grooves for better handling. Integrated into the slide is the revolutionary Mossberg STS safe takedown system. Using this system the user unloads the firearm (by removing the magazine and cleaning and locking the action to open it) and then removes the firing pin assembly before removing the slide as instructed. Unlike other makes and models of guns, the user of the MC2sc is not required to pull the trigger to disassemble the gun for routine cleaning and maintenance. The frame is a high-tensile-strength, glass-reinforced polymer that features Mossberg's signature aggressive grip texture and gives the pistol grip a sure, steady grip in a variety of conditions. It has a front rail for mounting accessories. The MC2sc's flat profile trigger (2.5Kg pull) has an integrated safety blade, short touch reset and reduced over travel.
