VMR-1 Reticle: Ideal for long-distance precision shooting. Provides detailed reference points to compensate for projectile drop and wind drift.
Dead-Hold BDC Reticle: Perfect for hunting, designed to take the guesswork out of projectile drop compensation for long-range shooting.
EBR-2C Reticle (MOA and MRAD): Provides a precision scale with hash marks for estimating ranges, windage corrections, and projectile drop. Ideal for tactical and long range applications.
HSR-4 Reticle: Designed to provide precision shooting at medium and long ranges, with undertension markings for windage and droop correction.
V-Plex Reticle: A simple and versatile reticle, ideal for general hunting and medium-range shooting.
First Focal Plane (FFP): In an FFP scope, the size of the reticle changes as you adjust the magnification. This means that the reticle proportions remain constant with the target, ideal for long-range shooting and precise calculations.
Second Focal Plane (SFP): In an SFP scope, the size of the reticle remains constant regardless of magnification. It is preferred for hunting and short and medium range shooting where a clear, non-changing reticle is needed.

Optical Coatings:
XR Plus Fully Multi-Coated: Improves light transmission for exceptional clarity and brightness. This coating is present in models such as the Vortex Razor HD Gen II.
ArmorTek: An ultra-hard, scratch-resistant coating that protects the outer lenses from dirt and oils. Available in models such as the Vortex Viper PST.
Anti-reflective coating: Reduces glare and improves image clarity in bright light conditions, present on models such as the Vortex Crossfire II.
Weight and Features:
Weight: Vortex scopes are designed to be lightweight without sacrificing durability. The weight of the scopes varies depending on the diameter of the tube and the bell.
