Tecnan Blue Cold Nanoceramic Protector for Weapons Tecnan Blue is a nanoceramic protector for weapons with a cold bluing effect that creates a hard and resistant ceramic layer. It has been designed to repair and protect the metal parts of any type of weapon. TECNAN BLUE can be directly applied on the metallic parts of the weapons: barrel, slide, body, drum, etc. The product is compatible with steel, aluminum, stainless steel and alloys. Thanks to the bluing effect, it can be applied to a wide variety of weapons: pistols, rifles or shotguns. The main characteristics are the following: · It is a highly durable protector based on a dispersion of highly hard ceramic nanoparticles that protects the surface on which it is applied, providing maximum hardness and anticorrosive properties. · Protector with cold bluing effect. Curing at room temperature, it is not necessary to apply heat to cure the coating. However, it can be accelerated to complete curing at a temperature of 140-150ºC for 1 hour. · The protector creates a blued effect on the surface, protecting it from external agents such as the weather or other corrosive agents. · It has great adherence and is directly applicable to any metallic part of a weapon, be it steel, aluminum, stainless steel and alloys. · TECNAN BLUE is a protector with years of durability and excellent coverage. · Gives the metal on which it is applied maximum hardness. · Available in different colours: matt black, parker grey, metallic grey, olive green, laurel green, wet sand, scarlet red, cobalt blue and transparent. · It acts as a barrier, protecting the surface on which it is applied against corrosion and aggressive agents that can cause serious deterioration. · It is resistant to scratches, oils and solvents. · Domestic and professional application. Easy application by aerosol spray or compressed air gun/airbrush. · Single component solution, no mixing required. · The final thickness of the standard TACNAN BLUE coating is between 10-20 microns. This thickness can vary depending on the desired properties. Thicker layers can easily be achieved with successive projections with intermediate curing. · It is possible to reapply the protector and repair damaged areas without having to remove the remains of the previous coating. If necessary, it can be removed by surface polishing. · The surface must be clean and dry before application. Avoid the presence of dust or solid particles of any nature in it. It is recommended to completely remove any traces of dirt, oxidation or corrosion. For surfaces with light oxidation or corrosion, a brass brush, brass-plated steel or medium or fine steel wool can be used. For more severely oxidized or corroded surfaces, more abrasive mechanical means such as light sandblasting or various polishing brushes can be used. Degrease metal surfaces with appropriate solvent or cleaner.
