If we add to the above the acclaimed Quick Defense (QD) trigger, with its short and energetic “reset”, we will have a short weapon that allows us to repeat the shots at high speed and more precisely by not losing sight of the target. . Ergonomics is another of the outstanding elements of this pistol, the grip and grip comfort is due to a non-slip material grip texture and high-performance frame, developed by Walther to provide a premium and functional grip in any weather condition. Whether it's torrential rain, extreme heat and humidity, freezing temperatures or thick mud, Walther has successfully overcome some of the toughest tests and conditions. This tetrahedron-shaped texture, designed for a service weapon, provides a very balanced aggressiveness between what should be a firm grip but respectful of our skin and clothing. In line with the above, another highlight of this version is the tailpipe optimized for a service pistol. This gives the shooter a higher grip height on the pistol, which reduces recoil. Furthermore, it is optimized for modern duty holsters with different retention levels, providing space for the different and most used anchoring systems. This beveled tail design also improves comfort during concealed carry. The smooth and rounded design reduces irritation when using an IWB (Internal Waist Band) type holster. This feature also reduces its visibility through clothing, while worn concealed. As for the sighting system, the Q4 SF PS version has steel sights with 3 white dots, the rear sight is adjustable for windage. They are designed not to snag on clothing, they are optimized for concealed carry. While the Q4 SF OR version is prepared for optics with a removable plate equipped with an LPA micrometric rear sight. The integrated optics mounting system is prepared, through different plates, for Trijicon, Leupold and Docter red dot optics.
