The Spanish weapons regulations determine that the type B license is the one that allows the use of handguns, pistols and revolvers, category 1 of the regulations.
The exact definition according to the Spanish regulations of what a pistol is, is:
Pistol: A short handgun with 1 or 2 rifled barrels, with its chamber permanently aligned with the barrel. The pistol may be shot-loading, repeating or semi-automatic (Art. 3, paragraph 16, Decree No. 395/75).
The different uses of pistols give rise to a variety of calibers, 9mm parabelum, 22 lr, 380 auto/ 9 short, and some more minor ones; but without a doubt the most recognized and widespread is the 9mm parabelum caliber.

I had the pleasure of purchasing the 150th Anniversary Edition Cometa 400 Fenix at the lowest price I could find online from these kind people. I also indicated that I am passionate about wood and that it would be great if they could send me a nicely figured example. These come with Spanish Walnut stocks. I'm not sure what was done in the background, but I can certainly say my hopes were met on this point!!
