The carbines that use the PCP system from its acronym "Pre Charger Pneumatic" or in English Pre-Compressed Air. The velocity is constant with each shot when using this system and therefore, the projectile will come out with the same power, making it easier to hit the target with repeated shots.
PCP carbine reloading methods
We would like to share with you the two possibilities of reloading a PCP carbine
Kit Bombona Carga PCP (Botellón/scuba)
The most convenient method for reloading carbines using the PCP system, pre-compressed air and the easiest solution to use is the Kit Bombona Carga PCP (botellón/scuba). It is a method that for us, after having verified how it works, we want to advise you.
The advantages are quickness, less effort and with this particular kit, you have approximately 10 reloads of your carbine. We liked it very much for its speed and convenience when it comes to filling the scuba, even for unloading.
Once you have purchased this PCP cylinder refill kit, you will be able to refill your cylinder in certain places such as diving clubs, petrol stations, fire stations that offer this service, specialised diving shops and certain pneumatic workshops.
Manual loading system for a PCP carbine
As for the traditional loading system for PCP carbines, there is the manual loading system using inflatable pumps. As for this PCP carbine loading system, it is simple and, as its name suggests, the pump reloading is manual, with a spot to which the different parts are attached. They work correctly, but when you have been using it for a long time and you try the bottle there is no doubt.
For years we have marketed two manual loading systems for PCP carbines, the Hill Pump and the Hatsan Pump:
- The Hill Bomb
Universal system for virtually all brands of PCP carbines. It has two surfaces on each side for the feet to be able to hold it easily, it has an easy to read manometer (pressure gauge) on the bottom and this pre-compressed air pump is specially designed to provide high pressures, as is necessary for a PCP carbine.
- The Hastan Pump
This pump is specifically designed for Hatsan PCP carbines. Some of its most important features are the fact that it has a particle filter, the handles are non-slip and treated against moisture and it is constructed with the best materials for durability and repeated use.
It also features foot straps and includes connectors compatible with any Hatsan brand PCP carbine.
