Design and first impressions:
The first impression we get when we pick it up is its design. And its dimensions! It is so small, and pweighs so little, less than 200g, that holding it in your hand and using it will be the easiest thing in the world. It also has 3 rubber embossed buttons, which will be easy to use, the far right one to turn it on (press and hold for a couple of seconds and it turns on), the middle button to adjust the zoom, and the button on the left to switch between the different display modes (whether black and white, green filter, red filter, contrast...).
The technology of the LTO Tracker HD
The LTO Tracker HD from Leupold is the lightest of the LTO series. It has a number of features that will help you in your needs.
It works by detecting and interpreting heat signals from objects. We can see animals, people and other sources of heat.
Unlike other night vision monoculars, daylight will not affect the optics of the LTO Tracker HD
Remember that it cannot be mounted on a rifle as it is not intended for that purpose!
The LTO Tracker HD is also a very important object in surveillance, as it allows you to see into your backyard or your farm and alert you to possible intruders or dangerous animals.

What about your screen?
The Leupold LTO Tracker HD has a resolution of 390x390, displaying clear, sharp images with good contrast. The screen isn't the biggest on the market, but you'll be able to identify whether you're looking at a tree, a person or an animal.
The screen and thermal sensor has a refresh rate of 25Hz, so it refreshes the image on the screen 25 times per second. I assure you it's almost like looking through a binocular without any thermal vision.

It also has a zoom up to 6x (digital). For when you need it
It also has the following filters:
Negative point: it has no focus, so it's fixed
The thermal sensor of the Leupold LTO Tracker HD
It uses a 302 x 240 micro-bolometer infrared sensor and can detect heat sources up to 680 metres under good conditions.
Other key points
- It uses a single 123 battery, which lets you use the Leupold for about 3/4 hours. It's a fairly easy battery to buy so you won't have any problems using it.
- It turns on in less than 5 seconds and will turn off after 15 minutes of inactivity.
IMPORTANT INFO!!! The LTO Tracker HD is not suitable for installation on firearms, it will not withstand the recoil of a rifle and you will lose the 8-O warranty
