BOG: Tripods, Bipods and Shooting Support Systems for Hunting and Shooting

BOG support systems for hunting and shooting

BOG offers different ways to support a firearm when hunting or shooting, ranging from tripods with firearm retention systems to bipods, monopods and complete shooting rests. This variety allows you to choose according to shooting position, required mobility and use in the field.

At Carbin Store you can find BOG families including DeathGrip, FieldPod, Adrenaline and Havoc, alongside models such as the CLD-2 Camo Legged Devil, HD-1 Heavy Duty, RLD-2 Red Devil and PSR.

Not every BOG support works in the same way. It is therefore useful to distinguish between a tripod with firearm retention, a FieldPod system, a conventional tripod or bipod and a monopod.

Which type of BOG shooting support should you choose?

BOG DeathGrip tripods

DeathGrip is one of BOG's most distinctive product families. Unlike a conventional open rest, these tripods incorporate a system designed to hold the firearm on the support.

Our collection includes DeathGrip, DeathGrip Sherpa and DeathGrip Infinite. Although they belong to the same family, their configurations, adjustment options and mounting possibilities differ.

BOG FieldPod, FieldPod Max and FieldPod Magnum

The FieldPod family uses a different concept from a conventional tripod, providing front and rear firearm support through a dedicated structure.

• BOG FieldPod: 50 to 105 cm.
• BOG FieldPod Max: 50 to 120 cm.
• BOG FieldPod Magnum: 50 to 150 cm.

The different height ranges make it possible to choose according to the shooting positions in which the rest will be used.

BOG Adrenaline: monopod, bipod or tripod

The Adrenaline range is available in monopod, bipod and tripod configurations. The key difference is the number of points of contact with the ground.

This allows you to choose according to the balance you want between mobility, speed of positioning and amount of support.

BOG Havoc and other field supports

The collection also includes the Havoc Monopod and Havoc Bipod, together with the HD-1 Heavy Duty, CLD-2 Camo Legged Devil and RLD-2 Red Devil.

BOG PSR and other support options

The BOG PSR adds another shooting support format to the range. The collection also contains products such as the DeathGrip 360 chair and BOG folding camo chair, which serve a different purpose from the brand's bipods and tripods.

DeathGrip, FieldPod, tripod, bipod or monopod?

• DeathGrip: tripod with a dedicated firearm retention system.
• FieldPod: structure providing front and rear firearm support.
• Tripod: three points of contact with the ground.
• Bipod: two support legs with less structure than a tripod.
• Monopod: a single support point for a simple, mobile configuration.

BOG compatibility and mounting systems

BOG uses different support and mounting systems depending on the family and model. Some products use yokes or firearm retention systems, while certain configurations incorporate solutions such as ARCA-Swiss.

Do not assume that every BOG accessory fits every support. Always check the compatibility of the specific model before combining components.

How to choose a BOG shooting support

• Support type: DeathGrip, FieldPod, tripod, bipod or monopod.
• Shooting position: consider the required height and adjustment range.
• Mobility: consider how much you will move with the support.
• Firearm retention: decide whether you need a simple rest or a system that holds the firearm.
• Mounting: check the options and compatibility of the exact model.
• Intended use: consider terrain and hunting or shooting situation.
