Multi-constellation GPS, VHF and 4G tracking

eSEEK uses several global navigation satellite systems: GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO and BDS. Using multiple satellite constellations helps provide stable positioning in typical hunting environments such as woodland, mountainous terrain and large open areas.

The satellite systems determine the collar's position. This information is then transmitted to the compatible handheld via VHF radio or the mobile network. Positioning and data transmission are therefore separate functions that work together.

• Multi-constellation GNSS: determines the collar's position using several satellite systems.
• VHF radio: provides direct radio communication between the collar and a compatible handheld.
• 3G/4G connectivity: transmits the dog's location over a mobile network when coverage is available.
• Offline maps: can be downloaded in advance and used without a mobile data connection.

Does eSEEK work without mobile coverage?

Yes. When mobile coverage is unavailable, the collar and compatible handheld can communicate directly via VHF radio within its effective operating range. Maps downloaded in advance can also be viewed offline.

When 3G/4G coverage is available and the collar has an active SIM card, its position can also be transmitted through the mobile network. Actual VHF range depends on terrain, vegetation, obstacles, device position and other operating conditions.

Tracking and training in one system

eSEEK collars are not limited to dog tracking. When used with a compatible handheld, they also provide several training and control functions:

• Audible tone.
• Vibration signal.
• Ten adjustable stimulation levels.
• Remotely controlled LED light.
• Built-in microphone for listening to sounds around the dog.

Training functions should be used gradually and responsibly. Begin with the audible tone or vibration whenever possible and always use the lowest effective stimulation level. Follow the operating instructions and pay close attention to the dog's response.

Battery life for long days in the field

According to the manufacturer's data, the collar can provide up to 60 hours of battery life in the specified five-second update mode. Actual battery life depends on the update frequency, VHF and 4G usage, available coverage, temperature and battery condition.

The handheld supplied with the complete set can provide up to 45 hours of operation under the conditions stated by the manufacturer. Fully charge the handheld and every collar before each hunting trip.

An eSEEK GPS system for multiple hunting dogs

eSEEK is also suitable for hunters and dog handlers who work with several dogs. According to the manufacturer's specifications, a compatible eSEEK handheld can be paired with up to 20 collars.

If you already own a complete system, you will normally only need an additional compatible collar to add another dog. Check the model, software version and compatibility before purchasing.
