The Deerhunter Muflon Pro hunting jacket is the most technical jacket in this selection for demanding weather conditions. It combines a Deer-Tex® membrane, recycled 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation, sealed seams and a quiet outer fabric.

Its construction is designed for cold days, big-game hunting, stationary hunting and stalking in wet or windy weather. Pre-shaped sleeves, stretch areas and side ventilation zips help preserve mobility when activity levels increase.

Excape Softshell for stalking and mobility

The Deerhunter Excape Softshell jacket has a soft, quiet and flexible construction. It is particularly suitable for stalking and other activities where freedom of movement and low-noise fabrics are important.

As with any softshell jacket, its precise level of weather protection should be checked before relying on it as the only outer layer during prolonged rain. Its main purpose is to balance mobility, moderate protection and breathability.

Moor Padded as a lightweight thermal layer

The Deerhunter Moor Padded jacket combines 160 g/m² Deer-Tex Temp insulation with stretch knitted panels beneath the arms. This provides warmth while retaining a useful degree of breathability and freedom of movement.

The outer material has a water-repellent treatment, but the jacket should not be confused with a fully waterproof shell. It is suitable as an outer layer in stable weather or as a comfortable jacket for hunting, dog training and general outdoor use.

Muflon for low temperatures

The Deerhunter Muflon trousers in Art Green feature 40 g/m² 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation, a Deer-Tex® membrane, four-way stretch fabric and pre-shaped knees.

Detachable braces, an adjustable waist, zipped lower legs and multiple pockets reinforce their hunting-focused design. Combined with the Muflon jacket, they form a protective system for stand hunting, winter use and difficult weather conditions.

Excape Softshell for active hunting

The Deerhunter Excape Softshell trousers use a hybrid construction with waterproof sections and other areas designed for greater breathability. They feature a 3,000/3,000 Stormliner membrane, ventilation zips at the back of the legs, detachable braces and stretch reinforcements.

This construction is intended for hunters who cover ground and need to reduce heat build-up. The soft, quiet fabric also makes the trousers suitable for stalking.

Strike Full Stretch for freedom of movement

The Deerhunter Strike Full Stretch trousers are made from stretch fabric and feature pre-shaped knees. Their outer treatment is water repellent, but does not replace a fully waterproof membrane. They are a versatile choice for active hunting, fieldwork, walking and general outdoor activities.

Deerhunter Survivor rainwear

Packable rainwear allows hunters to respond quickly when the weather changes. It does not necessarily replace an insulated hunting jacket, but it takes up less room and can be carried permanently in a backpack.

The Deerhunter Survivor rain jacket uses a Deer-Tex® Performance Shell membrane. It is lightweight, waterproof, breathable and packable, allowing it to be put on quickly when rain begins.

It can be combined with the Deerhunter Survivor rain trousers for complete lower-body protection. When the set is worn over other clothing, the volume of the layers underneath should be considered when selecting a size.

Deerhunter hunting vests and layering

Deerhunter uses different membranes, insulation materials and treatments depending on the model. The presence of a specific technology in one garment does not mean that every product in the collection offers the same performance.

How to choose your Deerhunter size

The clothing should allow movement and accommodate the intended layers without creating unnecessary bulk. A single size conversion should not be applied across the entire range, as an insulated jacket, a softshell and stretch trousers can fit differently.

• Measure your chest, waist, hips and inside leg without pulling the tape too tightly.
• Check the sizes available on the individual product page.
• For a winter jacket, allow enough room for both a base layer and a mid-layer.
• Make sure you can shoulder your firearm without tension across the shoulders, back or sleeves.
• When trying trousers, test long steps, bent knees and stepping onto a higher surface.
• When choosing rainwear, consider the volume of the clothing that will be worn underneath.

Washing and caring for Deerhunter clothing

Always follow the care label on the individual garment. Stretch trousers, an insulated jacket and a waterproof membrane may require different methods of care.

• Remove mud, seeds and plant debris after each outing.
• Close zips, buttons and hook-and-loop fasteners before washing.
• Do not use fabric softener on membrane garments unless it is expressly permitted by the manufacturer.
• Avoid high temperatures that could damage the fabric, insulation or stretch areas.
• Use a suitable treatment when the water-repellent finish needs to be renewed.
• Allow the clothing to dry completely before storing it in a dry, ventilated place.
