The windage and elevation adjustment mechanism has been adopted from the Mark 5HD competition riflescope, resulting in a wider adjustment range, improved feel, and outstanding accuracy. Furthermore, the detachable quick-zoom lever, also from the Mark 5, is extremely robust and allows more room for the bolt handle.
With new competition-grade adjustments, the ultra-rugged and versatile VX-6HD Gen 2 goes where other scopes can't. The wide 6:1 zoom range combined with an illuminated reticle and a fast-focus eyepiece with flip-up lens covers make the VX-6HD Gen 2 ideal for low-light hunting in all conditions.

This feature can be turned on and off as described in the manual below.
To activate the electronic reticle level, press and hold the illumination button for fifteen seconds. The reticle will flash once after 5 seconds and again after 10 seconds. After 15 seconds, the reticle will flash twice, indicating the electronic level is on. Release the button and press it again to turn the illumination ON. If you repeat the above steps, the reticle will flash three times, indicating the electronic reticle level is OFF.
Tilt the scope more than one degree to the right or left, and the illuminated reticle flashes. Tilt it straight, and the reticle stops flashing. Tilting it more than 30 degrees turns the reticle off to save battery life.
Custom CDS turret.
CDS™ (Custom Dial System) allows you to quickly dial in your elevation adjustment at different ranges with a custom dial that matches your specific ballistic information. Standard CDS turrets come with an MOA scale dial. A custom turret can be ordered for your rifle and ammunition.
