    El fabricante estadounidense SAVAGE se caracteriza por tener un extenso catálogo de rifles en calibre 17 HMR. El SAVAGE A17 Pro Varmint en calibre 17 HMR es un rifle semiautomático, con una asombrosa facilidad de manejo, seguro y de precisión superior.

    Refiriéndonos a la precisión, el cañón pesado de 558 mm (22”) tiene mucho que decir en la misma. Fabricado en acero al carbono bajo la técnica de “button rifling”, en este modelo tiene un paso de estría de 1:16.

    Otro elemento responsable de su buena precisión es su sistema de disparo. El mismo se denomina AccuTrigger, aparecido en el 2002 para los rifles de SAVAGE. Este se caracteriza por su recorrido ultracorto y rotura como varilla de cristal, limpia y consistente. Tiene seguridad integrada en el gatillo denominada AccuRelease, como las modernas pistolas de polímero, haciendo que su comportamiento simule un disparador de dos tiempos. Es personalizable por el usuario, en cuanto a su peso, desde 1,36 Kg (3 libras) a 2,27 Kg (5 libras).

    El SAVAGE A17 Pro Varmint cuenta con un cargador extraíble rotativo de 10 cartuchos. Monta una culata de madera laminada Pro Varmint negra de Boyds que proporciona una ergonomía superior y una plataforma extremadamente estable para el cañón pesado que monta. Cuenta con dos pernos porta anillas delanteros y uno trasero para poder colocar una correa portafusil y un bípode. El armazón viene con un carril Picatinny de una pieza para montar cualquier óptica.

      I had the pleasure of purchasing the 150th Anniversary Edition Cometa 400 Fenix ​​​​at the lowest price I could find online from these kind people. I also indicated that I am passionate about wood and that it would be great if they could send me a nicely figured example. These come with Spanish Walnut stocks. I'm not sure what was done in the background, but I can certainly say my hopes were met on this point!!
