    Un Steyr con culata y acabado en fibra que le confiere una mayor durabilidad y un aspecto realmente moderno. 

    El avanzado rifle MANNLICHER SM12 SX hereda la tradición austriaca de excelencia en fabricación de rifles con la implantación de los más sofisticados materiales.

    La precisión legendaria de los cañones Mannlicher se ve superada con el nuevo diseño OBP de perfil optimizado y corona rematada como los rifles de competición.

    El cerrojo es el suave y seguro SBS con maneta de lágrima (bola opcional). El novedoso y seguro armado manual es de extrema seguridad y muy silencioso. El disparador directo y con pelo permite efectuar disparos con precisión extrema. La culata de elegante tono verdoso oscuro con insertos antideslizantes está estructuralmente reforzada con pilares metálicos. La calidad del polímero de alta densidad la hace muy resistente.

    Cerrojo Mannlicher SBS (Safe Bolt System)

    El cerrojo SBS desarrollado y patentado por STEYR MANNLICHER, es el concepto más seguro de cerrojo a nivel mundial. En caso de disparar un cartucho con sobrepresión o si existe una obstrucción en el cañón, el usuario siempre está protegido de eventuales daños físicos que pudieran causarse por escape de gases o roturas mecánicas.

    Característica del cerrojo:

    1 - Acanaladuras para residuos:
    Unas acanaladuras especiales efectuadas en el cuerpo del cerrojo garantizan un acerrojamiento fiable incluso en condiciones extremas de hielo o barro.

    2 - Aguja percutora:
    En la parte trasera del cerrojo asoma la parte posterior de la aguja cuando el arma está montada, por lo que se tiene control visual y táctil del estado del arma.

    3 - Cierre del cerrojo:
    Los tetones del cierre del SBS por diseño son extremadamente fuertes y cierran directamente detrás del culote del cartucho sobre el armazón.

    4 - Maneta del cerrojo:
    La maneta del cerrojo se puede plegar y bloquear sobre el cajón de mecanismos.

    5 - Casquillo de seguridad:
    Únicamente el sistema SBS usa un casquillo adicional de seguridad que encapsula totalmente los tetones y el extractor. Consecuentemente el usuario está totalmente protegido contra cualquier escape de gases con cartuchos con sobrepresión que puedan ser disparados sin saberlo.
