The Thrive HD series uses high-definition glass and fully multi-coated lenses. ZeroTech states a light transmission of 92% for this model, a relevant consideration as ambient light begins to fade.
The optical design supports a clear, high-contrast image. Perceived brightness also depends on the selected magnification and viewing conditions: a 50 mm objective does not mean that image brightness remains unchanged throughout the zoom range.
PHR II reticle in the second focal plane
The PHR II reticle features a floating centre dot and a layout designed to leave fine detail visible in the sight picture. Positioned in the second focal plane — SFP, the reticle maintains the same apparent size as magnification changes.
However, the amount of the target covered by its markings changes with magnification. Their angular values therefore do not remain the same at every zoom setting. Refer to the reticle manual for its calibrated magnification.
Capped turrets and durable field construction
The elevation and windage turrets have protective caps, shielding the controls during transport and movement through the field. Adjustment increments are ¼ MOA per click.
The riflescope has a 30 mm aluminium main tube with a matte black finish. Its waterproof and fogproof construction, together with flip-up objective and eyepiece covers, helps protect the optic during hunting trips.

No. The 2.5–15x50 PHR II with model reference TH2155P has a non-illuminated reticle. The illuminated version is identified by the reference TH2155P-IR.
What does second focal plane mean?
The reticle maintains the same apparent size while the target image changes size with magnification. The angular values of its markings must therefore be interpreted at the calibrated magnification specified by ZeroTech.
