Exceptional image quality A sharp, detailed image is essential for reliable and accurate shooting, especially when hunting at night. With high-quality germanium lenses, a powerful 640 x 512 pixel sensor, a pixel pitch of 12 microns and a sensitive NETD value of less than 25 mK, the new thermal vision device offers particularly high image quality. Combined with a 50mm focal length, it enables an impressively wide field of view of over 15m to 100m and a detection range of 2,650m. This means that the DTC 4 provides a very good field of view in wooded areas, but also a detailed image at long distances in open fields, as well as a sharpness and image quality capable of differentiating small details. Intuitive operation improving global vision The proven Ergo-Control concept of ZEISS thermography devices with the central position of the focusing turret also results in simple and intuitive operation. In addition, you have a larger eye relief that provides additional flexibility where the image always remains sharp and without black edges, even if the eye is not perfectly positioned behind the viewfinder. And, thanks to the innovative option to choose between two magnifications (1x or 0.65x), the DTC 4 allows you to always maintain the maximum field of view of 15 m. This means that hunters always have a complete view, regardless of the magnification of the scope used. This translates into more time for shooting and more ability to observe the environment. Continuous precision and easy shooting The digital zeroing assistant, which can be operated via the ZEISS Hunting App, allows the user to synchronize the clip-on, optic and rifle quickly and accurately. Hunters only have to enter the firing distance and positioning of the shot in comparison to the initial aiming point in the App. The wizard then independently calculates the correction values and adjusts the display accordingly. This eliminates the need to calculate clicks and makes the process much faster and less stressful. Once the combination of ZEISS DTC 4 and viewfinder has been successfully zeroed, this information can be saved in the app and on the clip-on device as one of four profiles, making it easy to switch between one display to another with the DTC.
